Greetings, friends!
Before I go out and spend the $330 on a Plextor Plexwriter, I have one other question. I already own a Zip 100 that has the parallel port connector; I used to daisy-chain it off my printer. Does anyone know of a SCSI-to-parallel port converter/adapter? Iomega seems to make one for the JAZ drive, but I'm not 100% convinced that it would work for a Zip drive. Anyone here know if it would? Or if anyone else makes a device that would fit the bill? Again, any advice would be most appreciated. with all best wishes Darth Idios Dark Lord of rare collectable Pez dispensers |

This may not be what you are after butr here goes. I use a Apple external hard drive case and stuff a 4.3 gig segate drive in it. Set the ID address to 4, initialix\ze drive and use it for staorage or recording. This gives me 4x1gig/544min drives. (scu 0.1.2.3). when I run out of realestate I just slap another drive in the case and away I go. Currently working on being able to connect the external drive to my SCSI based omputer. Hope this gives you some ideas. Any questions you can e-mail me at "docwilson50@attbi.com"
Please include something about "roland" in your subject. (I usually don't open mail that I'm not familiar with)
