Zoom PS02 Palmtop Studio
OK, is there a limit to how many discussions I can start? (I am on vacation this week!) Anyway, I was just wondering what people thought of this relatively inexpensive portable recording studio solution?
Peace.

I am not sure, but I think one of our forum friends, AlChuck, has one of those things, I think he won it. Perhaps you can look him up or something. Welcome to the forum

There is an alterative to the Zoom. Korg makes one, it's the Tone Works Pandora PXR4. It's a 4 track, and is a little bigger then the Zoom.

I actually picked up a ps02 this summer and I really like working with it. They are relatively cheap and self contained. Also, since ZOOM basically dropped any hope of future software upgrades and the like, a few ZOOM users have gotten together and took matters into their own hands. They just wrote a program so that you can create your own drum patterns rather than be stuck with the ones that the unit comes with. I think this makes it a little more usable.

Tell me more! I would love to be able to do that! Maybe I'd use it for more than a glorified practice amp if I could do that! Where do I find it?

Hey Alchuck,
Check out the discussion board at http://www.network54.com/Forum/128321 There has been alot of discussion lately because of a new program that allows users to modify their own drum programs created by Armin. Good luck. |
