Unhappy whats with the vsr880's rca inputs?

why not just regular 1/4" inputs...why in the world are they rca inputs...
also.
can i sync my vs1680 with the vsr880....I NEED MORE TRACKS...what can i do.

RCA's.....so what? I run eight in and eight out thru a Mackie board with a ten foot snake with RCA's on one end and 1/4 inch on the other. Cost about $35. Certainly no difference in sound quality.

Yes...you can add tracks to your 1680 with the VSR. In fact, it may be the cheapest way to do that at about $400 for eight additional tracks. The VSR can be a slave to to your 1680 which allows you to use your faders to control the VSR's tracks. You get 4 gigs of useable hard drive space.

The VSR has eight virtual tracks assigned to each "real" track and two banks to work with so you really get 128 tracks...!

so i guess i would just need to get a lot of 1/4" to rca adaptors for the vsr880 right?

It's there way of getting you to but the 999.00 VM1300 digital mixer.
