Cool

Your burning software will convert a .wav file to .cda when you burn it...im not sure you can convert it any other way.....

Correct...

When you take your .wav files & burn them to CD, all files on the CD will be .cda files.

That's the only way you'll have them.

The .cda files themselves aren't even real. They're basically just pointers or placeholders created automatically by windoze. Try to copy one from an audio cd and you'll see what I mean.

i want to copy a song i recorded onto a cd i'm building.i had 9 studio songs on it and i added another i converted months ago which gave me 10---that worked.now i want to add one more, but the cd i had them all on formatted as if it was saying it wanted me to add another whole album.

soooo,my question is how do i add one at a time? i have adaptec 4.o that came with my burner. i did it before but am stuck.

The only way you can add any more songs (.wav files) to that CD is if you selected "Leave Sesson Open" prior to burning the CD.

Otherwise, that Cd is complete, and nothing more can be added to it.
