newfound respect for Bush

I just gained some newfound respect for Bush.
I think 16 Stone is an awesome album. Razorblade suitcase for the most part sucks and their new album is so so. But The Science of Things is rather creative. Well, anyway, I just found out the Gavin Rossdale wrote and recorded the entire album on his own. He played guitar, drums, bass, piano, did the vocals, etc.
So, I have to give him some credit there. PLus its a good album. It seems the band itself is just used for live shows. He writes it all tho.

In my opinion, this is their worst album. There are a couple good cuts off the record but nothing that would stand out.

If you want to get some great albums released in the last five or so years by alternative rock radio bands. Check out the Smashing Pumpkins Adore and Beck's Mutations.

Good call on Beck.

I also think that Midnite Vultures is excellent, but Mutations is one of my all time favorite albums, by anybody.
