I just got one of these used. How should the setting be with the knobs and everything? I have never used a compresor so i need a lot of help. Also is this a good compressor?

Compression is a tool and used as a "fix", sometimes its for effect....it depends on what your track sounds like and what you are trying to accomplish.....

that is a decent unit, IMO.....
