Anybody tried out Telestar guitars?

You know, the re-vamped Silvertone 1457, amp-in-the-case thing (the Mona, or so they call it)? I've heard they're a vast improvement over the old Silvertones. There's also a Les Paul-styled one called the Lisa.

But Is the company still out there? I seem to have trouble connecting with their website. I really would like to hear from anyone who's tried out or bought one of these guitars. Of for that matter, anyone who has ever owned one of those amp-in-the-case models. I did, and I regre not owning it anymore

Yeah! Really great design! Especially for playing at subway stops, bus and train stations. The amp/speaker/case serves as a tip jar, too.
