Godin LGX-SA batteries....

! How long are the batteries supposed to last in this thing ?! Bruce - you'll probably read this - how long do yours last ?

Came home tonight after a few glasses of wine and had some great ideas - plugged everything in, and NO GO ! I wanted "that sound".
And of course, I have everything but 9V batteries in the house. AA, AAA, C, D, but no freakin' 9V. I've got a 7 year old; if there aren't batteries in the house, I'm dreaming...
Oh, well, guess I'll play something else...
Now I know why this was my first "active" guitar.

piss me off...

Hey that's cool ! After a year or so of lurking, I'm now a Junior Member - Whoops ! I guess this is a gratuitous post.
Almost makes up for the battery.

Almost.

Hey Mike.......

The cheap battery that came with it died a couple of days after I got the guitar........

I threw in an alkaline and it's been strong since June or so (when I bought it)....

You have to leave it unplugged though, otherwise the battery will drain.........

Musta left it plugged in at some point. But then again, it was the same battery that came with the guitar (and I did buy it in May...).

Guess I can plan on 6 months, depending on use. Good round number.

Thanks,
mike
