Basic Cubase tutorial

I have just purchased cubase VST 5 and the manual and help menus mean nothing to me. Can anyone point me to a basic tutorial to get me started? I want to sync a keyboard to it to record drum and synth parts and also record guitars using a POD 2. I cant even record a track! if someone could help I'd be very grateful, remember you were there once!

Hmm... manuals can be daunting. If I remember correctly, there is a sample song that comes with Cubase and the Cubase Getting Started guide walks you through some pretty important aspects of the software using that song as a reference. Anyway, if you don't like the manual maybe this one will work better for you:

Oi! Your right Bongolation! That certainly should NOT generate a blank screen.

yeah alexandra university also does online Cubase classes, $99 for non-accredited, I think like $350 for accredited classes. I'm not sure how good it is as I'm still considering it myself.
