Question recording live with a br-8

this may be a stupid question but i have just started using the br-8 and would like to know how to record multiple instruments, vocals etc. example..a live performance. i have a P.A and wonder if it possible to run multiple mics that way or? any help would be much appreciated! hippie

You can only record 2 tracks simutaneously, so here you have to run all the mics thru a mixer, and than mix down to 2 ch stereo 'out' to the BR-8's R&L input.

last nite i was determined to figure out the mixing board and ran all mics into one track per instrument..that works great. but, when i tried just a guitar and mic (line 1) i cant get the effects for the guitar and mic to work simultanously? are you forced to run through a seperate effects box? or?

Lightbulb

Here you must press the both 'Input Select' for a 'SIMUL' recording. The BR-8 will track and apply a patch because the unit will sense an input. Here you have to decide if you want any effect on the recorded tracks.
