Samson S-class prod.?

You guys wouldn't know anything about this Samson S com4 compressor?I checked the web site,but need some opinions from you who have used it in 4 or 8-track home recording.Seems like a perfect toy for it.Maybe next my purchase???

Umm, I dunno about the samson, to tell you the truth until now I didn't even know they made compressors. I have a samson headphone amp and power amp to power my monitors, and they are both ok. As far as compressors go I would probably have to direct you towards the Behringers. Whether you get an autocom, a multicom, or the composer pro, you can't really lose. I think they just came down a whole bunch in price too, so they'll probably be cheaper than the samson, and as much as people around here bag some of the Behringer stuff, the compressors and noisegates are great, and incredible value!

The gates are allright but I disagree about the Behringer comps.............

Anyways.... if you want an excellent comp at a small price, get yourself an RNC......... it will certainly smoke the Behringer stuff and a lot of others costing much, much more.......
