Hello,
Does anybody know anything about these monitors?
I can't find any reviews.

don't know about the PS3.1's but i HAVE owned the original PS3's for about a year now.
they are very similar but i think the 3.1's have nicer satellite cabinets. i think the PS3's are one of the best kept secrets around. my home studio is in a spot where i MUST monitor through headphones OR at relatively LOW volumes. the PS3's are excellent for this. stereo separation is SUPERB on these little beauties. you can mount the satellite speakers on a stand or sit them on a shelf VERY close to you and tuck the subwoofer
under the table or under your rack or whatever. there are THREE separate amps in the system (1 for the sub and 1 each for the satellites). from the subwoofer you can control overall volume and bass output. the bass output is tight and solid (without
boominess). the key here (because these are LOW watt speakers) is to monitor at fairly LOW volume levels. if you pump a super loud signal into them you could damage them. OBVIOUSLY i would like to purchase Mackie or Tannoys (or a similar LARGE nearfield monitor at some point) but for $200 (AND given the noise restrictions i must
adhere to at the moment) this is a very good investment. THESE ARE NOT PRO MONITORS,...but the sound is crisp and clear, the bass is solid and the stereo imaging is really good. for the money they are highly recommended. PLUS,.....if you ever DO
upgrade to bigger monitors,..you can hookup a CD walkman to tthe PS3's and have a great portable or shelf stereo system. cheers.
