Angry Recording with Delta1010/Cubase 5/32

I have a Delta 1010 on a 1.1ghz P IV ,Win98 running Cubase 5/32 with ASIO setting in cubase on ASIO Multimedia with inputs the 10 inputs of Delta and output to the SB Live card ( for now) - I can record ONE track of audio only - I thouhgt that I could record 8 SIMULTANEOUS tracks with this configuration. I have tried to setup ASIO as M Audio Delta , but Cubase does not record anything then. I would like to record at least 6 analog audiotrax SIMULTANEOUSLY with individual slider control (WHILE RECORDING) for those inputs, on 6 different Cubase Audio trax.

Can anyone help? How many marbles did I start off with ??

I believe you are talking about multi-record. Here is a good link that deals with the subject succinctly and graphically.

Talking recording smiles

Hi darth87,

Thank you for the info - it REALLY HELPED - I omitted to turn the inputs on the VST input selection in cubase.

Thanx a stack !!
<<BKM>> :-) :-p
