what sound to buy?

I currently run cakewalk pa 8 with a sound blaster and want to upgrade my soundcard to a more pro audio unit with multiple inputs. I'm told I'll need a multi channel card with a breakout box to connect to my small mixer. Any brands, pros and cons or set up info would be greatly appreciated.

M-Audio Delta, 44, Delta 66, Omni

Echo Darla

These are all respected cards.

I hear MOTU has good stuff, also.

yeah m-audio audiophile is what I use with Cubase and Cakewalk and the sound is superb, it was also relatively cheap ($180), read good things about Echo as well.
