could the way I am storing songs have anything to do with the Lag I keep getting? I keep everything in my documents and then have a folder for each "record" and then have the songs stored there. Some of these folders get pretty big, like a gig big.
I have followded the manual troubleshooting the lag and cleared half of my hard drive (6 gigs free) but last night it still happen in the 5000 range. please help us obi wan kenobi yr our only hope.

No. Lag as you're describing it is typically the result of a much more fundamental inefficiency: soundcard/soundcard drivers, bad mobo chipset, inadequate processor, etc.

thanks-I guess that is what I figured. What is a bad mobo chipset? good website btw.
