JBL LSR25P Dented Tweeter Dome??

Gladly, not mine...

A buddy of mine from Collaboration Central bought a pair of these babies, and inadvertently dented the tweeter dome.

The guy at his music store told him it was just a dust cover, and would not change the sound. I thought that was the case for woofer/midrange cone speakers, but didn't think that applied here.

Any insight? More salesman BS?
