Question Need help with midi

I have cubase 3.0 running on my pc and some soundmodules connected. The problem that i have is that everytime i hit the stop and the rewind button on the cubase transport bar i lose the sound setup on some modules. How can i disable this feature in cubase ?

this is pure guessing - have you tried unchecking the box "reset midi on stop" (something like that) I think you find the option under file>preferences ( haven't got cubase on my system, so I can't point you to the direct place)

Yeah less likely but possible is to make sure you are recording SysEx messages from your sound modules. I don't personally know how to do that on such an old version of Cubase as I use Version 5.

I will try those things you guys mentioned. It's very frustating when you have selected the sounds on the modules and cubase changes this everytime you hit the stop/start/rewind/forward button. Any other suggestions ?
