buying online?

I live in Vancouver Canada. I want to purchase a pair of studio monitors in the less expansive catagory..under 500 usd. I want to purchase online...because even after the exchange rate rate i will save quite a bit compared to buying the same monitors in a music store here.

Can anyone recomend a sight online that ships to Canada..or if you know of a canadian online store let me know..i am not having much luck.

one place that had a good deal was musiciansbuy.com They ship to Canada but they the min order must be at least 500 usd...unfortunately out of my range after exchange rate etc...

any help would be greatly appreciated asap

thanks

Talking

Yo PSP:

You could call up Yorkville in Canada; I have a pair of their YSM-1 monitors and for the dollars they are great.

They are made in Canada and someone there must market them. But, if you get Yorkville on line, they will let you know how to make contact.

Yorkville also has a set of powered monitors out but production seems limited and I've not heard much about them.

For the dollars, this might be a good source for you.

Cool

also, Tannoy Proto-J's are made in Canada and are a good monitor for the price....but in that price range, JBL LSR25P's are the bomb.....
