To whom it may concern

Hey guys,

I just wanted to post an update for anyone who may have read my pleas for help a few weeks back and tried to help....

3.0 was not working after an upgrade of my CPU and switching my mobo. Because an old version of Vegas I had was working, I incorrectly surmized that it was a problem with NTrack.

With the help and hard work Sangram a HomeRecording friend of mine we were able to solve the problem which turned out to be too many critical devices on the same IRQ, though no conflicts were reported. Also my mobo soundcard had not been disabled. My LynxOne is now on it's own IRQ and everything is functioning smoothly. That is except for Midi which we are still working on. I don't use midi but I did have a midi file sent by another friend that I cannot get to play. Error message "Incorrect file or Old format".

Anyway I just wanted to update everyone and to once again thank everyone who tried to help. I hope I didn't offend. At the time I was dancing on my last nerve! Sorry about that.

BACK IN BUSINESS!

Cool

Rusty,

Glad to hear you are in business...sorry I wasnt much of a help.....now the fun begins......one suggestion : dont upgrade again for a looooong time....im due for one myself (500mhz Celeron ) and not looking forward to the tweaking......

as far as midi, Ill assume you have a card or softsynth capable of playing midi files?....if so make sure you have it selected in preferences/midi settings/midi devices.....

also, you probably wont get it to load by using file/open...you will have to use the import function (file/import midi file)...if that doesnt get it going, let me know......
