great DX plug for mastering

I have just downloaded the demo of "ozone" - seems like it's VERY handy .... and has a slick interface - go check it out

I haven't checked it out yet, but I know Izotope makes great stuff. Izotope Vinyl is in my top 5 favorite plugins, and it's free.

PSP make some great mastering plug-ins.

I'll recomend your favourite wave editor ( mine is sf5 ) works like a charm, tried to run it as a master plug in Nuendo while havin' Reason up running 3 drum sequencers and a couple of samplers at the same time - boy did I get crackles

I just have the demo. I am waiting for the more experienced to try it, and evaluate it, before I drop $200 (that I don't have right now).

I use the demo on n-track. Mix down to 24 bit stereo and then put ozone on the master channnel. I really like the interface and it seems very good to me, but I don't know much.

I have a P-III 733 MHz with a dedicated 7200 HD for audio and it will run, but if I use all the built in options I run 60% to 70% cpu usage. The fact it works in 64 bit must really tax the processor.

I have tried the demo of T-racks and in my humble opinion ozone is MUCH better!

I agree with Alchemist on PSP, I purchased the PSP stereo pac, about $20.00. It has done more to improve my mix than anything I have tried in the last year!
