Cubasis Vst 2.0 Audio editing

1) Can someone please tell me how, after importing a file (drum loop etc), and then importing another file(similar).........how do I join them up?? I know......it should be basic.......but either they overlap...........or there's a gap!! I have Wavelab Lite and that is just as puzzling as it only seems to open one file in its track view...........so I can't "nudge" another one alongside it.
2) Please help..................

Nudge it in Cubasis. You'll probably have to turn "SNAP TO" off. You don't need Wavelab for nudging.

if it's loops you're dealing with, I don't see the problem, set the bpm to whatever the loop is ( or make the loop the same bpm as your project ) then the snap to comes in handy. Unfortunately I've just uninstalled Cubase and haven't used it for a while, so I'm a bit rusty, but there is an option to sellect if you want it to snap to bar, 1/8 etc ... guess you already know that - hope this has been to some help
