Winamp vs. Gina

My Winamp stopped getting along with Gina!

Both the last version I had and the new beta I got this morning do the same thing.

Everytime I hit the play button the Echo Console volume control is reset to -99dB. I can push the slider back to 0 dB and it will stay there until the next press of the "play" button, but by then I've missed the beginning of the tune!

I had that problem about a year ago. Strangest thing, volume sticks at 0 after each play.

The bad news is - I don't have a solution. All the sudden it worked again (probably after one of the many frequent format/reinstalls).

I thought it might be a virus, but cound'nt find any info that related to this exact problem.

Yeah- a few (more) uninstalls and reinstalls and now it works again.
Can't figure out what the heck happened. It's annoying enough for the volume to automatically be set to zero upon STOPPING playback, but upon STARTING it?

I'm glad Winamp rose from the dead. I'd hate to have to be stuck with windows media player.
