I purchased an old soundboard this week for next to nothing - it is a BFI 16 Channel Stereo Submaster Mixer Model 1690. The board is an older board, but I thought that it would be handy to mix my mics, instruments, etc., when laying tracks on the Boss BR-8 recorder.
Anyway, my thoughts were that I would look BFI up on the net and see if I could get a manual for the mixer - well, guess what - I can't seem to locate them. Does anyone know how I might get in touch or who might carry the manuals for older mixing boards? I've attached a picture, in case someone recognizes it. Thanks a lot, Lazarus |

If you are going to use it only for getting signals into the BR8 you won't need a manual. Plug all of your instruments into the mixer inputs. Rum the main out into the BR8........go to about.com and search under Homerecording. You will find a wealth of info there.
