Question Fostex FD4 - External Drive with Syquest EZFlyer

I bought a used FD4 without internal drive. On power up, it is missing a driver. I have a Syquest EZflyer 230 Mb, with SCSI interface.

Fostex support replied that FD4 will work with Syquest EZFlyer, and there is no need to have any software.

Syquest Disk can be formatted for PC or MAC. Does this matter?

I have an FD-4 and originally used the Syquest; also use a ZIP 250. You do not need any additional software as the FD-4 will format your discs with Fostex operating system. To that end, it doesn't matter which version you have (MAC or PC). Hope this helps.
