too basic to figure out! Help!

I tried to select a particular section of one of the .wav files in a song I'm working on. I left-clicked, held it down and slid the cursor over -- and nothing happened! It won't highlight the section. What could this be???

There are two controls that you use with your mouse. One selects the actual wav files, the other selects a block of time. At the top of your n-Track toolbar, click on the button that has a picture of a "+" with arrows on each end. Then use your mouse to click and drag wavs around the tracks. To go back to selecting a time block, click on the button that has a picture of a mouse cursor on it.

Good luck! n-Track is AWESOME..

Thanks, my DarkFriend, but that's not the problem. I do have it set to the "mouse cursor" (the arrow) control, but it still won't highlight any portion of the .wav files.

Anyone know what this could be?

Thumbs up With Flavio's help, I figured it out

The "scroll lock" button on my keyboard was pressed. Don't do that.

Damn that could happen inadvertantly and you'd never know it.

Ah ha! the little light comes on....In my head too.
