importing wavs into cep
How to import wav files into cep?
I saved a file in Fruity Loops as a wav file. I imported it into CEP, but when I try to play it, I get this message: "MMSystemm004. The specified device is already in use, etc... Make sure that no tracks are in use, even if etc..." Anybody know how to help me get around this? |

You should have Fruity Loops closed while your in CEP.

True dat...
You should get yourself a card that supports multi tasking... Mine does and it's a real mood saver. I used to get so pissed off when I constantly had to close down programs to be able to play other proggies, or deactivate samples before being able to use them in another program... One thing tho... It still won't let you save an edited file while it's being used in another program, that's a very reasonable (allthough annoying) precaution. I can have Cubase, Rebirth, reality, CEP and winamp playing at the same time.. i've tried it.. hehehe ![]()

I have a Delta 44 Card and in the control panel under hardware settings, there is a little box called "multitrack driver devices" and this is what you can configure to do this.
