the 430 is decent, but not great. it lacks a bass rolloff switch, which is usually needed.

I also have a pair of 900's,and the are a decent mic fro their inexpensive price, IMHO.

yea
Yea, I'm curently using them for ovrheads but I'm not really happy with them in that application, more for vocals. I'm planning on getting small diagphram condensor mics for overheads, because I think they have a crisper sound for vocals than the large diagphram like the 900's.
