98Lite vs. WIN2000

Simple question...

What are the advantages/disadvantages in using Win2000 & VST compared to 98Lite?

I'm currently using 98Lite without any probs (P3 500 & Delta 66), but I need a change...

Any comments would be appreciated.

What is it with W2000? Card driver issues or VST issues?

i know many people with a setup some what like yours. delta 44 or 66's, or omni setups running win2000. no problems. now win2000 does have some driver problems but it is more stable that 98se and Me, i'm not sure how 98lite is. i use winXp pro. it seems to be the best for doing any type of music production. i say if you dan't have any problems, don't change.
