Do you have a Delta 1010 soundcard?

Do you have a Delta 1010 soundcard?

Just wondering how this card works with Sonar or Pro Audio.
I am thinking of getting one, so any comments are welcome.
The Delta 1010 or the Delta 66 or Delta 44...

Cool

I dont own the 1010, but i own two delta 44s, and they work fine with cakewalk. i think most things are supported by cakewalk because it doesnt use ASIO. you shouldnt have any problems with it on any software. ive tested them with cakewalk, cubase, logic, and nuendo and they work fine.

Thumbs up hmmm

I use Pro Audio 9.03 with the Delta 1010. Using the latest drivers and doing proper installation all is well. And the phrase of the day is...
(drum rolls, tasty ey? hahaha ha)... I/O buffer size. Tweaking that weirdo parameter can really make them changes on my system.

My setup is 1 40GB boot drive and 1 virtual 80GB drive (via RAID mode 0). If data storage security is high priority, I do RAID mode 1, 40 mirrors 40. On the boot drive (where pro audio is installed) and if I record 8 simultaneous 24 96 tracks the CPU meter reads 0 and disk fill no more than 2%. BUT if parameters are incorrectly set, a dropout can occur in the BAR #1 ! This of course should be good news but a note/encouragement it requires a bit of tweaking. I'm currently testing recording on the RAID; up to this point excellent results. Pro Audio 9.03 + Delta 1010 (@24 96) excellent, add in a mere internet connection and some surfing etc - prepare for absurd errors. On the Sonar - I chose to stick to 9.03 for obvious reasons. Once DVD burners are closer and Sonar has the surround sound feature (supposedly in the works) I'll be on board. So on that I can't comment. Best results to you,
Jeff
