copyright material
Does anyone know the best way to copyright original music? Years ago my band used to send ourselves a cassette with our originals. Since it went through the post office (dated) & we never opened it, we were told this was a cheap man's way of copyrighting. Is that true? What else can one do to copyright songs? I want it to be legit.
Thanks Chris |

It's not legit and it won't hold up if it goes to court.
www.loc.gov/copyright/forms/ has the forms you need to do it right. dave @ kathode ray music
