Unhappy Kawai K1-II/Alesis nanopiano

Hello all, hope you guys can help. I have a Kawai K1 and a Nanopiano. I want to use this setup at a live performance. How can i do a bank select from the kawai ? Is it possible to have the sounds i like on the nanopiano, selecting from the Kawai, near each other ?

It's been years since I used a K1 and I don't have alot of hands on with a NanoPiano - but -

If I recall, the K1 should have (in the MIDI parameters section) a program change send - you need to make sure that is on. The Nanopiano must have a program receive which also must be on.

This would allow you to call up a patch on the K1 (like internal 2A) and patch number 6 should come up on the Nanopiano.

Keep in mind the K1 only has 32 patches (64 if you use an external card) - so in all likelyhood, if you can get the K1 to change patches on the Nanopiano, you can only change the first 32 (or 64) patches - so you need to assign the sounds you want (on the Nano) to the 1st 32 or 64 patches.
