I posted up a link to a song a little while ago, and I got some good feedback about the mix and the recording etc... Well, I've done a couple more tracks, and opinions are welcome...
So, all in MP3 format - the first two are the new ones and the third song is the one I posted a while ago (in case anyone missed it). Thanks in advance, Dave. Crawling Inside (4.73 megs) Extreme (3.74 megs) Grain Of Sand (2.69 megs)

Guys, I didn't know there was an MP3 forum - I'll go and post them over there in a minute. These tracks were recorded using Cakewalk Pro Audio 9 - so I thought it was relevant...

Dave,
I think your post was very relevent due to the fact that you created these songs with Cakewalk 9.0 I love to hear the work of other people using the software I'm using. It shows what kind of music can be made. Maybe someone using Pro Audio 9.0 can give you some specific software tips on how to make your recordings better. I think more people should post their works here for all to "examine". I have certainly thought about doing so myself. Regarding your songs... Did you record the songs yourself or with a band? How many people? What kind of studio setup did you record these in? What equipment? Other Software? What is your motivation: love to make music want to be a famous rock star just your hobby nothing else to do I listened to all of them, I liked Extreme, then Crawling Inside, then Grain Of Sand. Sounds good. I have no technical advice... But Just Keep On Making Music... A1MixMan |

Thanks for the interest. All these songs were written and recorded totally by me, I do it all myself. My motivation is just the fun and satisfaction of making my own music.
I play a Yamaha DTX Electronic Drum Kit, and use a cheap guitar and a Zoom 505 guitar effects unit. Add a midi keyboard for bass and key sounds, a week attempt at singing - and you're more or less there...! Gotta love Home Recording eh...!?! Dave.
