sync mpc 2000 and CWPA 9

What is the easiest way to sync the two. I want to use CWPA 9
to record with. I want to use midi to start my mpc so I can record my sequences. I don't want to record midi data just audio. I want to start the mpc with midi so I can record the audio. Can you help me???????????????????
My cpu has midi in and midi out.
