Mixing with Amplifier

Hi
I have just invested in a Carlsboro 6-150 amplifier and Folio 12/2 std Mixer.
The carlboro amp has a six inputs each with different effects. However i am connecting my input units into the mixer which i then send thru the carlboro amp.
The mixer hasn't got a reverb effect which the carlsboro amp has.

I would like to utilise both the mixers bass/treble effects as well as the carlsboro system for each individual input.

The carlsboro amp has a "send" and "return" loop, but i am unaware of what this does.

I have been connecting the mixer to the send input of the loop, as a result all the controls of the carlboro sytem become are not operational.

Is there any fault in my connections...?

Hope you can help
Thanks in advance

I am not familiar with the Carlsboro amp, but possibly the send and return you are talking about is for the input and output of an outboard effects unit. This is just a guess.

I hope that you figure it out.

Cables

What cables are you using? TRS I hope?
Try pulling them out 1/2 of the way.
