Compatible Plugins?

Anyone know of some cheap plugins available that work well with Ntrack?

I've been using n-track since v1.something, and actually found only very few that don't work with it. There's tons o' shareware/freeware plugs all over the net...

I have a recently compiled list of free plugins on my website: http://www.slackmaster2000.com . Go to "Misc" and then click the link to "Slackmaster's Free Plugin List".

If you need a compressor, definitely give Flavio the $20 for his DirectX compressor... I bought it and love it.

www.cubase.it has a good list of freebies. Be sure to check out Jerome Schmidts... they work well in N-track. I also like the FreeverbX reverb plug-in.

I am very happy with db-audioware plug-ins, particularly the limiters, compressor (which he calls the "dynamics processor") and de-esser. The compressor is much better than Flavio's IMHO.

Yeah, I'm hip Tom. Criusin' through some of their stuff now.

Slim, I'm downloading the compressor as we speak. What does a de-esser do exactly? Please Bruce, don't tell me it de-esses!

The silibants can be tamed with a simple para EQ.The range is very narrow,so you crank the level and sweep the upper band to locate the specific vocal freqs that are giving you trouble.Once located, notch 'em back 10 or 15 dB and you have "deessed" the track.
