Drum Mic Kits??

Is there a "decent" drum mic kit out there? Or is that possible?
Thanks

Cool

what kind of kit do you have and what type of music do you play?....are the mics for live use or studio recording?.....how good or great of a sound are you after?....

Im gonna guess that my answer will be that it is better to buy the mics individual than a package......

My home recording setup doesnt include live drums but if it did id have a pair of Marshall MXL603's as overheads, a Shure sm57 on snare, and an AKGD112 on kick.....

O Yea,
It's for recording. I have an old (decent) set of Pearls. 2 toms, snare, floor tom. (of course, hi-hat and 3 rides.
Thanks,

Sure -

1 AKG D112 (kick)
1 Shure SM57 (snare)
3 Sennheiser 421 (toms)
2 Shure SM81 or AudioTechnica 4051 (overheads)

Buy a multi-mic case from SKB and there's your "kit"...

shure

shure makes a kit, thats the beta 52(i think) and 3 SM57s with the clips, seems like thats a good one for you. Then nab 2 marshall 603s... that will work. for overheads the 4051 and SM81 were also mentioned. Those are more expensive. Then You can get Crown CM700s as well. but for the drums that Shure kit is pretty good. The overheads will set you back another $150(marshalls) to $400(Crown) to $600 (SM81).
