cd architect

I know Sonic Foundry no longer makes cd architect, but I need to know how to make tracks. I usually make mixed cd's but I can only make one long wav. file. i have tried to make multiple tracks but it takes too long. I am using an older version Soundforge xp 4.0. Does anyone know where i can find a copy of cd architect. I am actually thinking about purchasing Cool Edit 2000 but I can't at this moment. Any suggestions.
Thanks.

If you already have CD Architect, try CDPBurn (freeware) at the url below. It will burn a CD from a saved CD Architect project.

What does that pCDBurn do. I already have easy cd creator. I don't have cd architect but I need a program that will allow me to chop of a long wave file into tracks. That is why I was inquiring about cd architect. I have sounforge xp 4.0 and I downloaded cool edit 2000 but it is only a temporary download. Thanks for you help.

CDPBurn will do NOTHING for you if you don't have CD Architect. You probably won't be able to find CD Architect, as Sonic Foundry does not sell/support it.

Alternatives:

CD Wave Is a shareware program that will let you chop up a big .wav file into individual tracks. After you've chopped up the big .wav you'd have to use a different program to do the burning.

Nero Burning Is a package like EZCD Creator (only much less buggy), that supposedly will do this for you too. (I haven't done this personally.)

If your tracks run into one another (crossfades etc., no silence between) you need to make sure you do not add the 2 second gaps between tracks. Many burning programs default to this behavior.
