thanks for the heads up bro! cool update, this in particular kicks ass:
>>"Per Track Audio Scaling - Audio track data can be scaled for easier editing of quiet audio data. Scale is displayed in track/clip pane splitter bar. Scale can be adjusted on a track-by-track basis or globally using the zoom tool and the mouse or shortcut keys (see online help for complete list). "<< |

That will be cool, but nothing will be as ground breaking as the fact that they have finally fixed the "gapping" problem. I consider it a flaw in the software that has never been fixed on any version of CW or Sonar. If they finally got it right, I'll be doin' the dance of joy!

Haven't downloaded it yet - probably tonight (gulp!).
From the Sonar newsgroup this is a pretty major version change. File names are different - limiting compatibility with prior versions. Several new enhancements/features. Sissors tool is back (why not the pencil tool?? - yeah, I know, destructive editing). If all works, I'll be a happy camper. If it doesn't, I'll be one pissed off dude. |

Aaron,
The list of features says: "Smoother Mixing via Envelopes - Eliminates Gapping or Pausing for mix adjustments so envelope changes and their results are audible without any disruption to the audio signal." |
