Simple question

Hello guys, I'm a newbie here at the HR Forum, but I already can say that I'll stick around for a while!
Well, let me ask you a question: I have a room with regular concrete walls and I want to build another room inside using those retangular brown bricks... they inside and outside room will only be conected thru the floor and I'll soundproof the outside room also... I want to be able to track drums at anytime and don't have the cops knocking at my door... what do you guys think? What should I use to soundproof the outside room? The reason I want to leave the inside room w/o soundproofing is to see how it'll sound... what do you guys think? Any ideas, comments?
