What are my capabilities now that I have a TRITON to accompany my MPC 2000?
What are some advantages to having both? Should I connect thru MIDI? Come guys help me out here so my creativity can expand! ![]() |

Yes, connect them through midi, so the MPC can utilize the sounds of the Triton.

Yo Spin:
I don't do midi; I listen to midi cuts from friends who send them to me on the net and THEY ALL SOUND SO MECHANICAL and methodical and unethical and predictable. But, maybe I don't understand it all.... I do like doing stuff on my synth and overdubbing on my recorder. So, Spin, tell me what is advantageous about doing Midi? Yeah, I know, I'm just learning. ![]() I should have been more specific. I was saying that if he CONNECTED the Triton to his MPC by using a MIDI cable he would be able to SYNC his Triton and MPC (with the MPC being the MASTER DEVICE). THEREFORE, utilizing all the wonderful components that the Triton has to offer (along with the MPC 2000). Quote:
