Dead or live?
I am converting a 21' x 21' garage into a small studio. Approx 1/2 is a corner control room and the other 1/2 is the tracking room. I am wondering, should I just make the tracking room a "dead" room as I don't think i'll get much usefull room ambience from a room this size.....any suggestions are appreciated.

it very much depends on the overall dimensions and shape of the room.
If its a square box with a low ceiling - dead If its an interesting, uneven shape with a sloping or peaked ceiling, you'll have something to work with to make a good sounding room |

Thanx, I appreciate the help. I kinda figured that was the way to go, just wanted to varify....it's an unusual shape, but 7'9" flat ceiling.......not much to work with really as it's such a small space and not enough size to generate much usefull sound.
Dead it will be. S. |
