Cubase VST + Cuepoint

Greetings,

For a while now I've been trying to arm/disarm tracks in Cakewalk, using my JL Cooper Cuepoint. Seemingly, its not going to work (due to cakewalk). A friend of mine mentioned that Cubase supports this function, if so, have any of you successfully controlled your Cubase with a hardware-based MMC controller such as the JL Cooper Cuepoint?

Thanks in advance!
