Studio Insulation

Just a quick question...framing is almost done on new studio, my plan for layering of sound proofing is: rockwool between studs, vapour barrier, soundblock sheeting, half-inch plywood, half-inch gypsum board, half-inch acoustic panel (enermax), and finally half-inch gypsum board (possibly on resilient channel). Question: is all this necessary, especially wondering if half-inch plywood could be dropped?

Thanks,

Bob Windsor
