software
Hello, I'm obviously new to PC recording but I had a couple questions.
My friend recently hooked me up with some recording software (Cubase VST 32, Vegas Pro Version 1.0, Cool Edit Pro) I essentially want to record the best quality, maybe even a demo, of guitar, vocals, bass, keyboards in my room. Keeping in my mind that I'm not familiar with recording, any suggestions on the best program to use with learning curve that would be responible for a newbie? I've heard that Cool Edit Pro is a very easy program to learn but how does it compare to Cubase etc. as far as getting CD quality or whatever? |

It depends if you will be learning MIDI or WAV. recording.
I would suggest that you learn on the Vegas Program, because it has an easier learning curve. And, you will be better acquainted with Sonic Foundry products once you PURCHASE a newer version of the program. http://www.sonicfoundry.com peace... spin
