My debut CD is now complete, any tips on how to sell a few of these beauties?

MAC2,

Are they just distributors or do they assist you in getting sales?

Gidge,

It's my solo effort, I don't play solo only with my band.

Basically they're a site that enables you to sell CD's on-line from your page on their site AND sell CD's from your own website. They will set you up with the ability to take credit card orders for your CD on-line OR people can utilize a 1-800 number if they're leery of using a credit card on the internet. They encourage artists to use song samples(which they will help you with..), artwork, updates, appearances and promo information to help sell your product(s) from your page at their site. There is NO CHARGE to do this. They do get a cut if you sell CD's however. Visit their site for more information.

cdstreet is just a way to distribute your CD on the internet as an independent artist. You still have to find a way to get people interested in your music so they know it's available and where to get it. I agree with Gidge in that playing in front of as many people as you can will help do that.
