Question Event PS5 and Monitor Flicker

Hello everyone. My Event PS5s are in close proxity to my computer monitor. @ higher refresh settings (70 - 85 hz), my computer monitor screen vibrates to the point of giving me a serious migrane. @ 60hz, it works great but my computer monitor flickers because of the lower refresh rate. I emailed Event tech support and the reply said that the PS5s or any of the other Event monitors are designed that the EMI shielding emits @ 60hz.

Off course, the situation could be remedied by placing the PS5s (or any Event monitor) a little bit further away from computer monitor. However most project studios are small (like mine) and we all want to save space. I didn't have a problem with Alesis M1 Actives, Genelec 1029s and the Yamaha MSP5s.

Do any of you know why Event designed the housing @ such a low refresh rate? Most users these days use higher refresh rates w/ their computer monitors unless he or she wants to go blind.

Any input would be appreciated.

Heard that people have the same problem with the amped 20/20s. Event says that their sheilds can't block all magnetic interfearance. Wonder why the other monitors you mentioned can.
