washburn headless guitar

I got this guitar around 1986-87. I think it's a 1984 model? but I don't have a model number and really can't find much info about it online. Anyone have any ideas?
As I remember, it played fairly well when I used it.
Right now it's in marginal shape (needs overall setup and rewiring) and I'm thinking of fixing it up, getting new pickups (any recommendations?) and perhaps put a Roland GK2A synth pickup on it. Just wondering if it's even worth it. If you have any info on this 6-string Steinberger copy ... please share!
