drum machine?

does anyone have any suggestions for a good drum machine?
im really tired of all the techno/dance beats i get on the cd's i buy that contain 1000's of "beats".....

Fruity Loops is my favorite cereal......

but ive read on other threads that its based more on techno beats, is this correct? or do i just not know what the hell im talking about? i probably dont.......

it all depends on the samples you use...if you use the included samples, they suck....Ive posted tons of links to get decent samples from.....

Also, Acid is good for programming drum tracks.....more flexibility than Fruity Loops......but if you are justlooking to do better than a drum machine, FL can do it.....
