Maybe the second dumbest question ever asked?

I have no Midi devices except for my keyboard. I am trying to figure out if when I hook my keyboard up to say a sound module via midi cable, can I then come out of my sound module analog and record in analog? Thanks guys! (if you are wondering, I am thinking about the JV1010 Roland and both the pod 2.0 and Bass pod. Thanks!

Yes, the sound module will have audio-outs (analog) that go into the audio-ins of your mixer or preamp.
