Can you DELETE track automation or can you only edit it??

If you mix down using the automated mix feature can you delete it?? I saw an edit function but since my final output clips a bit I want to start over with the entire mixdown process. Is this possible? Not needed??

Are you using Sonar or PA 9? I don't know about Sonar, but in PA 9 if you go to the Event List view for the track you want to delete and there is list there of your automation, you can edit and delete them. But if it's blank then I would say you probably won't be able to (but I'm not positive).

This one I figured out after I posted...go figure. If you right click on the track in console view the select >> edit automation << you can use the eraser to wipe out the whole thing (or a selct piece).

I've got PA8 and would upgrade but I am hoping to eventually get the Digi001 / Protools set-up since I need a new soundcard anyway....I've got a 16 bit....

Thanks!
